An awaiting evening in Kyoto. This magnificent structure known as the Kinkakuji shines in harmony with the setting sun. I was lucky to get in just five minutes before the gates were closed.

Captured in August 2012 during sunrise in the Swiss Alps at around 06:30 AM. View from the "Alpergensee", a small lake above the Goscheneralp valley at around 2510m. The highest mountain in the center is the "Gross Windgallen" with a peak at around 3190m. If you look close you can see the outlines of his little brother aka "Chli Windgallen" right before him with a height of 2986m.

The whole valley below was filled with fog on that lovely morning.
