I stayed over the night on the Hirschberg near Bad Hindelang, Bavaria, Germany. At midnight when I arrived but the sky was full of clouds. However, at the moment I woke up (at 3 a.m.) it was completely clear. It was cold so I couldn't sleep. Finally it was absolutely worth it to stay there :) I want to dedicate this to my friend Melli :) I hope you like it!

Taken in Half Moon Bay, California. I used a series of cheap ND and Graduated ND filters which gave the scene a magenta hue. After correcting the colors in Photoshop, I realized I liked it better the way it was.

This image was shot in the early morning hours at Lake Orr which is located at the Gold Coast, Australia.

This shot was taken in Bensingersiel at the North Sea a few minutes before sunrise. Except for graduation curves, I didn't have to add any saturation. The colors were amazingly strong. The sky and foreground were taken from two separate shots, because I didn't have an ND-Grad filter with me and the difference in brightness was even too strong for RAW-editing.

Foreground: 11mm, f/11, 26 seconds, ISO 1600.

Sky: 11mm, f/11, 49 seconds, ISO 100.

My first, and certainly not last, visit of Edinburgh, Scotland with its typical cloudy sky. I enjoyed every minute of my three day vacation there. Great city!

Fog quickly rolls in during a sunset photoshoot at the Raven's Roost overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. This was the last image I was able to capture before the backdrop was totally white from fog.
