Shades of Nature
July 9th, 2017
Revisiting my photo collection of 2014, now on retina display, brings an other dimension to the shots taken in Antelope Canyon (lower), Arizona.
I know IFL has a few of these shots, including some of mine, but who can say they are tired to look at them? It's a unique place with infinite perspective and shapes.
Adobe Lightroom CC.

Reflections in Paradise
By cgrphoto33
April 20th, 2011
I recently spent a week on Maui and our resort hotel had an awesome infinity pool. I was hoping not to have to do any HDR on this trip and stick to my grad ND filters but in order to get a good reflection for this picture I could not really use the filter set. I took this shot at the serenity pool of the Wailea Marriott on Maui, Hawaii. The first night that I arrived the skies were perfectly clear but thankfully the clouds rolled in the second day to make for much more interesting pictures.

Switzerland Vastness

This picture was taken from an outlook platform with a 360-degree view of the beautiful and mind-blowing Mount Pilatus, Switzerland. Definitely a whorthwhile trip for anyone visiting the Swiss Alps.

Another shot of the Target Toyota Indy Car. I really like the speed and motion captured in this. Looks like it's about to drive off the desktop! You'd think I was a Toyota fan with all these photos, but I'm actually a Honda fan through-and-through.

I took this photo on November 4th when I went back from the "Kampenwand", a mountain located in the bavarian area "Chiemgau". The Sun was shining through the clouds and the whole area began to glow red.

Arch in the Sky
November 21st, 2010
While traveling to Bar Harbor, Maine, my brother and I visited Acadia National Park. This photo is taken at the highest point of the park, with the view on the bay. What makes this unique though, is that I'm back to the sun, which was in haze and created this arch in the sky because of light difusion through the clouds.
Canon 5D Mark II, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0 L USM. Developed in Adobe Lightroom 3 and Adobe Photoshop CS4.

Tea Grove

These are called "tea tree" or melaleuca or paperbark. The park after rain has vast pools, which is why the area is called a swamp, but the trees feel good in such environment.

Tis-sa-ack (Half Dome)

One of my favorite places in the US (Yosemite). When in the valley you can almost get a 360 view of the entire park. Believe it or not this shot was taken from the heart of the valley. Spectacular views without much effort.
"Half Dome was originally called "Tis-sa-ack", meaning Cleft Rock in the language of the local Ahwahnechee people." - Wikipedia
