After a 12-hour drive we got this amazing view as a reward. The landscape around Geiranger is simply stunning. If you're planning a trip to Norway, this is the place to go.

This photo was taken at the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes in the Death Valley National Park - a great sandbox for all the tourists that come here. Nevertheless, at the the end of the day, all that's left of them are their footprints in the sand. So I enjoyed the wonderful colors of the sunset on my own :) By the way, all you can hear in a sand desert is your own breath and the pulse in your ear - very interesting effect...

If someone blindfolded me and took me here I would have never guessed I was in Norway. Some beaches here on Norway's coast look more like Hawaii or Thailand. Crystal clear waters and clean white sand make it look like a dream. Taken on Grotlesanden, Norway.

Yellowstone sunset near Grand Prismatic Spring (not pictured). It wasn't easy to get a shot without anyone in the frame.
Five bracketed shots taken on a tripod. Adobe Lightroom, HDR Efex Pro.

Lake Bannalpsee is an artificial reservoir. It was built from 1935 to 1937 during the construction of the power plant in Oberrickenbach, Switzerland. It's not very known to tourists and can therefore be called one of Switzerland's secret spots.
Adobe Camera RAW 7.0.
