That morning the sky was beautiful and the snow came delight the sets. So it was an obligation to me to take a picture.

HDR, sorry about that but the sky was worth it. The orange cloud lasted only 2min, then it was a weird blue again. The sky behaves oddly up there. Iceland is such a beautiful place.

This is a snowy jetty near Marina Minde, Denmark. It was a very cold evening (-15°C/5°F) but it was worth it for the photograph :)

Water, its the stuff of life.

The ice terrain was rendered with subsurface scattering, processor intensive but well worth it. With global radiosity for added realism. The planets maps were done in Photoshop and rendered within the same scene in Max. The shaded lower half of the planet is actually picking up light from the terrain because of where it was placed in the scene.

I took this photo while flying a paraglider just outside of Jotunheimen in the Bøverdalen valley. Home to many of the highest mountains in Norway.
