Photogenic Fly

September 12th, 2013

I took this macro photo while on a trip to Thailand last Winter. I saw the fly land on the leaf and got my tripod out and set up. I took some shots from a distance away and approached gradually, but the fly remained on the leaf. This photo is the closest I got before he flew away. The most photogenic fly I ever met.

Adobe Photoshop CS5, Adobe Lightroom 5.

Pentax K-30, Pentax HD DFA645 Macro 90mm F2.8 ED AW SR.

Photo Settings: 90mm, f/2, 1/60 second, ISO 100.
