This image is from a series of photos I took of "Mt. Baldy" this past July. Located just outside of Grand Lake, Colorado and Rocky Mountain National Park, this valley was one of the most picturesque places I have ever visited.

The images were shot vertically and stitched together in photoshop to achieve much higher final pixel count than would be possible with this camera's native resolution. I have intentionally refrained from 'over-saturating' the colors because I wanted this photo to look as realistic as possible. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

This park is located in Thornton, Colorado and is definitely one of the coolest parks I've been to. The view is amazing, it completely surrounds you, looking also out towards Denver and DIA. To me, this photo captures the essence of Colorado in the Summer - green grass, blue sky, sunshine, and peace.
