Near Mt. Charleston, just outside Las Vegas, NV. The storm was following my Jeep out of the mountain. For a brief moment, the Sun broke through the dense cloud cover and cast a light on this mountain to my side. Luckily I pulled over and snapped the shot before the storm reclaimed the land.

This shot was taken on an incredibly windy, cold evening after work. I was headed home over Coleman Valley and pulled over and got stuck in the mud. So while waiting for a tow truck I hiked up a hill and found a nice viewpoint. Luckily it took the tow truck a while so I was there for the perfect moment just after sundown to get that incredible golden light in the shot!

Taken August 2011 during a stormy evening while camping near Lake Mohave on the Nevada side. It was very difficult to get this shot (focusing, timing)! Just before the Sun was completely set, I got this one in... The orange light coming from the right side is from Las Vegas. These colors were the real deal, amazing moment.

Taken late at night during August 2011 at Lake Mohave, Nevada side. The ominous orange glow is coming from Las Vegas. The green light is a mile marker, and the yellow one is a campfire. A very amazing place to visit.

Taken while visiting a friend in the Northern Las Vegas desert. I saw a good picture so I decided to take it. It's not as desolate as I'd like, but I thought the lines of the mountains and sky looked really good.
