As i was hiking through the Bavarian alps in late Spring, i see that ray of light, coming over the top of the mountains. It was late afternoon.

This shot is made of 5 HDR images, each made of 7 exposures. When i was hiking up to the "Breitenstein", near "Wendelstein", in the Bavarian Alps, i had to photograph this nice panorama!

I wanted to call it "can you see your hometown", but in the single screen version you cannot see any hometowns, so i called it "View from Breitenstein".

Taken in May 2011 in Hinterstein, Bavaria, Germany. After some very hot days, it snowed again in the mountains, but this evening some clouds disappeared, so the Sun found its way through them :) The picture is the result of 6 pictures stitched together to an HDR :) Hope you like it! :)

It was a very rainy day, but in the late afternoon some clouds disappeared, so the Sun could break through them. However, raining did not stop, so these beautiful rainbows arose over the mountains. I hope you like it!

Taken near Bad Hindelang, Bavaria, Germany from the peak of the Hirschberg. It was incredible to see this scenery from there. I hiked up there at about 6 p.m. and stood for about 3 hours. Stitched together from four photographs of the landscape and four of the sky because the lightning conditions were to different. I hope you like it!
