A long shot I took last weekend during a photo excursion to Cologne, Germany. I took a different viewpoint than the other photographers so that the bridge wouldn't overlap the cathedral.

In Winter 2009 I was on top of the Brocken (Harz Mountains, Germany) and had the most wonderful sunrise, I have ever seen. I started the walk at 5:00h in the morning at full moon, needed no headlight. There were about hundred people on top waiting for the Sun. It was a wonderful moment.

I stayed over the night on the Hirschberg near Bad Hindelang, Bavaria, Germany. At midnight when I arrived but the sky was full of clouds. However, at the moment I woke up (at 3 a.m.) it was completely clear. It was cold so I couldn't sleep. Finally it was absolutely worth it to stay there :) I want to dedicate this to my friend Melli :) I hope you like it!

It was a very rainy day, but in the late afternoon some clouds disappeared, so the Sun could break through them. However, raining did not stop, so these beautiful rainbows arose over the mountains. I hope you like it!

A week ago I decided to finally visit our local airport with my camera. So I went to Düsseldorf International Airport (ICAO: EDDL) and took some pictures. This is one of the results. The picture was taken right after sunset. You can see an Airbus A319 in front and a Boeing 737 in the back.

Taken near Bad Hindelang, Bavaria, Germany from the peak of the Hirschberg. It was incredible to see this scenery from there. I hiked up there at about 6 p.m. and stood for about 3 hours. Stitched together from four photographs of the landscape and four of the sky because the lightning conditions were to different. I hope you like it!
