This is a very close-up shot of some flower petals. Although it looks like a grainy image, this is actually the texture of the flower. This was taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XT D-SLR and Canon EF-S 60mm macro lens for those who are curious.

Wow, this one will look amazing on my desktop! It almost looks drawn rather than photographed. Just discovered your other macro-shots, and now I really can't decide which one to put on my desktop :(
