It's nice, but the skull+knife gets really blurred out when viewed in larger resolutions (1920x1200 for example)

Yeah , sry the render had a bad resolution. Its great for 1680x1050 i think , above it's kind of blurry right :)

I use it in 1680*1050 and from my point of view , it's ok there. It fits with the background i think. Also it was my aim to get all this kind of blurry except the Title. Gaussian Blur happens!

Very well done, Koonibert! The blur and style is fantastic. My only object was the "Pirate" text... I know what it is, you know what is, do I really need to read my desktop? :) I think it detracts from an overall great picture.
