Hey, I live in Colorado, was this this storm last night? If so did you get any pictures later in the evening?

Hey, great job on the shot. I've been trying to catch lightning here in Boston from my apartment for the last couple of months. I really appreciate the difficulty of that shot. nice work!

I'm a HUGE fan of this picture... do you think you could give some information on the camera and settings you used to shoot this? Its incredible, haha

Thanks again for the comment. I used a Canon Digital Rebel XTi with a 28-105mm Canon Zoom. The focal length was 28mm, f18, ISO 100, and a 1 second shutter speed. I just kept snapping away until I caught the lightning. It took about 40 tries before I caught it.

Congratulations on an AMAZING shot!!!! So many elements of this photograph make it a one-in-sixty-lifetimes picture: TWO lightning bolts, the RAINBOW, the color of the clouds, etc. Well done :-D

I live in CO and it has been a lot more rainy than usual in the past month or so. It obviously makes for a great picture. I love the rainbow to the right of the lightning.
