Clouds Like Silk
By VersonPhoto
June 30th, 2007
Alright, I know this is pretty much the same view as the last one I submitted, but when the clouds are doing something like this, I just can't resist...

To #5, This was taken at f/22 at 1/4th of a second. It's actually not fisheye, but 15 vertical photos that I stitched together. That, combined with an incredible sunset :-)

Who cares if it's similar to a previous shot? Apparently you can only get better. It's gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!!

andre_afonso01, do you have ANY idea how that makes me feel? That is just incredibly rude. I feel sorry for you.

First.. congratulations to this image, it's phenomenal.. but i was wondering, if you could make a similar image just more to the north so you get more of downtown and grant park.. i would appreciate it very much.. thanks, keep up the good work

To #18, believe me I'd love to, unfortunately they're constructing a 60 story condo building next door to me and the rest of the northern view has been pretty much blocked.

Spectacular! I'd really love to go to Chicago one day, looks like a beautiful place.
Oh... and andre_afonso, I've read most of your comments and they all seem to bash aqua*star. Seriously, have you no life?

@darksnow
I said once and i say it again, his/her wallpapers are like baby draws compared with any posted where, this kind of skill level is not appreciated where,im sorry
I seriously hope he/she gets so angry that,he/she decides to show everyone that i'm so f***ing wrong about him/her, and that he/she can do so much better than that!
Then you'll see his/her true skills to show up!
I know this isn't the nicest way but its the more efficient one to make him/her to wake up his/her talents!
Then you'll see me saying "this one rocks" our "uaauu"
the way always justifies the end
and darksnow... i do have life, probably more connected to Art than yours...
I apologize for my arrogance and rudeness
by the way, this wallpaper rocks!(again)

Beautiful shot.
@andre_afonso01: I don't think you've quite grasped how criticism works. You don't insult someone into improving, but rather help them improve. Your method is definitely not "efficient" like you claim, but hurtful. I'm not sure where you got the idea that flaming is going to help anyone.
If you can't even muster up some words of encouragement or helpful tips, I don't think you have any place to insult an author.

Author VersonPhoto wrote "[...]when the clouds are doing something like this, I just can't resist...". Good thing he didn't. This is not a cliché¬ it's an emotion. Shared.

Absolutely wonderful picture. I'm often in rush lately and this makes me calm down. I like the color tone of the picture. Nice work, thanks :)
