I've been a fan of your other submissions, however, I think this one falls short. I think the highway on the right side and the building and related stuff around it are distracting instead of adding interest to the photo. The biggest problem, though, is the bright area on the left side of the photo. This area is either flaring out from sunlight or it's been dodged way too much in Photoshop. Whatever the case, it draws the eye to it in a very unnatural way. Don't take it personally Joel, like I said I really like your other work. Not every photo is an award winner.
