Amazing! I think this is a beautiful shot! Nice work. Dark, yet serene. I love the light behind the tree. Wonderful. Thanks very much!

Yes indeed, very nice except for the crooked horizon. Just straighten it up a bit and it will be excellent. Otherwise all the water will run off the left side of the world.

It just snowed last night at my house and this picture is a great break from that. I have to agree that the horizon is a tad crooked.

Very nice dreamy state. Contrary to what some say the horizon looks perfect to me--it balances the otherwise overwhelming watersurface AND, most importantly, it plays along with radiating clouds as if it was part of a cloud. A+ picture--thanks!

Great photo. This was taken at Brampton Island, a small resort island off Mackay in Queensland Australia. I was just browsing when I saw this and recognised the scene as I worked there for over a year many moons ago. Looks like the photographer was out front of the restaurant to take this. The umbrellas surround a saltwater pool which you can just see the sunset reflection. Would you believe that at low tide you can walk out past Pelican Island to the right and on big high tides the pool gets flooded by seawater! It's far enough off the mainland to make it one of the few places on the Australian east coast where you can see the sunset over water. Once again, beautiful photo.
