Don't take this personally origamist, because your image is actually quite nice, however, once again, InterfaceLift has proven their narrow mindedness. Yet another sunset. I suppose I should expect no less. I suppose I should start submitting one of the approved types of images (sunsets, scenic horizons, flowers or night shots). Maybe then I'll get posted. This is getting a tad ridiculous.

Just like blaskowski182 this is my first comment on a picture, I found this image to be completely stunning, I love these types of shots, thank you very much, my desktop appreciates it. As for the second comment by jpicard, just ignore him, he must just have delusions of grandeur.

Well par79 that was a good one. My first advice to you would be that you actually read a persons comment before mouthing off about someone personally. If you read my comment you would see that I like this image. The problem I have is with the InterfaceLift moderators, however, YOU should find plenty to download here because this type of image is here in abundance. My second piece of advice to is this: grow up. Even in my criticism of the moderators here I don't lower myself to personal insults as you feel the need to do.

I stand by my former statement.

Here's how I stand, jpicard and par79:

InterfaceLIFT I am sure gets tons of sunset pictures and other so called approved types and I don't think they should limit the amount they accept because if the image is quality, then why not put it on? Instead of rejecting a perfecting good image because there are too much of one type, we get more quality images. So while there are a lot of sunsets, etc, I think it is fine to accept any quality, interesting image.

That's a fair comment f8pcpaul. Well put and mature. I disagree but I respect your opinion. I'm just one person. By no means do I expect InterfaceLift to customize it's content for me but, as is witnessed in other comments for other images, I'm far from being alone in my opinions. As for par79, you go right ahead and stand by your former statement. Some people have thicker heads than others.

I've been there too, it's a wonderful place and the people are fantastic. This really catches the essence of sunset at the lake!

You've gotta be kidding me :D I've been using this site for almost a year and here's my first post. I couldn't help but comment because I've stared at the beauty of those same mountains. Lake Atilan is amazing. I wish were there right now..

there's a restaurant in San Lucas that's really good, with an incredible view. Then walk a block north and buy some coffee from the mission ($7/pound, best coffee ever, fairly traded because I've seen where it's grown, picked, stored, and sold)

Very nicely done. The wide angle you used work well.
