Very interesting take on this shot. I've been looking for something a bit Wintery for my desktop lately, and this shot will fill that role nicely.

great shot of my hometown, i wish it was in 2560x1600 though, but that's not a big deal, the detail in the ice and buildings is still incredible, thanks for posting

oh god, i remember when it was in the negatives. it makes this snowstorm a bit more bearable :) although the warmth earlier this week was nice

The sky is photoshopped in on this? Dunno what it is but the sky right over the city kills the picture for me. Not too bad overall though, GJ.

The sky is not photoshopped. We've had bad weather in Chicago recently. I sure hope you meant the clouds right over the city, unfortunately the sky is always there.

Great pic, bought an album off iTunes just this week, and I swore I saw this the pic in the digital booklet. The sky is different, but it's recognizably the same pic. Hopefully all due permission was sought...? (Owl City; Ocean Eyes)
