That is just crazy! It looks like an eye looking at me. It is also very beautiful. The colors have a great contrast form the blue that is in the middle to the orange red colors and the blue purple on the outside. I also like how you can see different stars and galaxies throughout the image. Keep up the great work.

Right on illiterate. I would love to see Horse Nebulae or similar color shots of space mixed like this. Here is an idea...how about mixing color picture with X-ray picture etc.? It might work.

@ illiterate & Repent: Thats right!

@ emirto: Under the picture is a drop down box, select your screen size (if you don't know what size it is there is a link to find out on the main wallpaper page, click "Wallpaper" at the top of this page, right under date posted it says "resolution" a pop up will tell you). Select your screen size then click the download link. The picture will come up in your browser. In Windows right click and select "set as desktop background" or on Mac I think you can control click the picture and do the same. If that does not make since check out this faq page http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/faq.php. The link is also near the top of the page "faq / how-to".

Its things like these that really make me realize how unimportant my troubles are. The Universe is very humbling.

@Emitro...

You can download all the pics of your resolution you'd like to one folder that you usually download to, then, copy all of them (if you know how) and paste them all in your C:Windows/web/Wallpaper directory. This way when you right click on your Desktop it will bring up menu with choice of "Properties"--there choose "Desktop" and pick the wallpaper of your choice and "Apply" it to enable it. Make sure to choose "Stretch" option if you are using resolution of a picture that matches not your screen's resolution. If you still have questions please let me know. To copy and paste bunch of things in a directory click on one item and press CTRL button and A button and it will select the whole thing--then you can paste it into above mentioned directory in Windows (sometimes it's in D: drive.)

@fragydig...
I did look at "Hourglass Nebula" and it does look like an eye. The eye is associated with face to face examination from which you cannot escape being a liar so you have to be true face to face like you would be in the face of God being true as to the acknowledging of your sins and being humble. From the vast expanse of the far reaches of space to the Mitochondria of your cell God is calling out to you to repent of your sins and to be honest in your search for everlasting absolute Truth. Face God now or face God later...Be with Him or against Him. Accept God and He will accept you...deny God and He will deny you.

not so good. It has too many colours and the background isn't black.

The colours are a bit different, but it reminds me of the Eye of Jupiter from Battlestar Galactica.
