I took this photo beside Hong Kong Airport. One airplane departed over the port at the magic time.

'Finally, An update'
Look, we either get pictures that none of us like and so slate. Or we are patient by a day or two and get quality.
I'd rather settle for the best.
Can someone explain to me why the runway is in the sky? How that's done? e.t.c?

It's a timed exposure. He/she had the shutter open for several seconds to get enough light in through a small aperture in a low light setting. Those are the lights on the wings of the airplane and the blinking red light in the middle.
Very cool.

The runway isn't in the sky, its a long exposure of 25 seconds and a plane is flying over as the shutter is open creating the effect.

Well worth the wait!
This is conclusive evidence that UFO's are constantly surveying top secret installations and the photographers who are photographing them. The barbed/razor wired barricade at the near end of the pier looks like a time portal of some sort.
Seriously, this is a great shot.
Well, back to the home planet.

the "magic port" concept makes me smile, but honestly i think the photo would benefit with the bridge a bit more featured and the plane lights gone. great atmosphere, though!

i like the feeling of the photo. but i agree with "brizkit".... i wish the angle is different for the bridge. but it is very nice
