i used a canon 5D and a 105mm L lenses, i guess the water was from a mini hdr from post-processing, so some parts of the water are ''still'' as i said i did't had what i need at the time, i had to manage something else!

I think AdamP's comment is good constructive criticism. Supakewldawg that was unnecessary. The builds are crisp and would normally be eye catching, but the water just blurs everything. I understand you weren't working with perferct tools, and are still getting used to that new SLR (though I'm sure you'll get some great shots out of the canon 5d), but this isn't on par with the rest of your work.

hah! yes i agree, actually i love negative AdamP (constructive)feedback... sorry if someone as been rude or something, i actually think AdamP is very right! just dont forget that i merged about 3 different exposures they were about (rightly same exposure) anyway when is too good makes me think less about it, and for me photography am always learning!!
Now that i got the tools i need.... well almost!
Keep an eye for further better shoots, P.S am not good on cityscapes and this one was the one i liked most, and i should be shamed of myself for lining in London and never out to London taking photographs of the city... but what i really like is nature landscape, but is a hard job when u always busy with work and don't have time to be around, i may suggest you to have a look an different view of st. pauls here: http://images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/77262/medium/Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_663708.jpg
much better result from my point o view,
Many Thanks

Best shot on the site as far as I'm concerned. One of those once in a lifetime shots where everything works. Kudos....

Wow, thats an awesome picture, especially since I just walked across that bridge (it's called the Millennium Bridge) two weeks ago. Thanks for the picture :)

I don't really like the composition of the shot. Feels like the focus of the image is being sucked off of the top of the shot - too much water for my liking. But that's just my opinion.

@supakewldawg:
You're not keeping your critique to yourself, either.
There's no such thing as negative critique. You post something good about the wallpaper, and you post things that the artist may improve on.
Hey, without "negative critique" people wouldn't improve on their pieces as much as they would normally do.
And the wallpaper is good work. But it isn't perfect. Nothing is. If you actually wanted the artist to improve, you'd tell him what he could improve on. He even openly admitted that he could improve upon his piece.
What are you, 7 years old? We're idiots because we were taught to give fair critique to help people?

@supakewldawg:
I've got to be honest, you're acting like a little kid here.
All AdamP was doing was saying things that could make the picture better, the artist also agreed to them. In fact, AdamP's comment was even somewhat positive, and I found your comment rude and actually.. negative.
Critique is dished out here to better one's self, people often ask for it. You're right though, we were raised better.. maybe we should critique a little more, perhaps?
PS - Please learn how to spell, your (or as you'd say.. you're) post was an eyesore.

sorry, but i am a GROWN WOMEN with strong roots. i wont be bullied by some internet thugs just because my opinin is DIFFERENT THAN YOURS! so dont think you will push me around!! some artists are pushed aqround there WHOLE LIFE by people like you,so think about that...... maybe you just dont understand this picture yet, like Van Goh. this work is GREAT and you wont change it with idiot posts. even if you attack my grammer. yeah thats just as expected, because you have nothing else to say......... LOL

I wonder why all the crazies come here to rave? Do they get a kick out of "shouting" obscenities online? I don't judge people on their grammar, but spelling woman wrong? Oh, well.

You call this bullying? Ha, we're expressing our opinions, too. Van Goh's art aren't perfect. Sure, they're masterpieces, but as with every art piece, there are flaws. Why can't you just accept that? Did we say it wasn't great? It is great, to some people, and it isn't that good to other people. It's their own opinion. Look up "fact" and "opinion" in the dictionary. There's a difference. What you think of a wallpaper is opinion. Not fact. For a grown woman, you should know these sort of things already, unless you have some sort of disability. You mentioned earlier that it is your opinion. Yes, we respect that. But you can't change our opinion. You make it seem as if your opinion is the right one. There's no such thing as a right opinion. Get that through your mind. I don't care what others think of me. Every one of us gets pushed around in life, at least once.

If you love the piece so much, why don't you tell us what is so amazing about it? Not once, in this page, did you back up your opinion.
I know I love to rant, but if you actually bothered to type everything out in correct grammar and spelling, people would probably take you more seriously. Yes, some of us make fun of your grammar, but they also criticize you for your other points. Don't act as if you're right all the time. It makes it seem as if you're 5 years old (Heh, yeah, I said the same thing in my other comment, but now it's 5 years old) I'm only 13 years old, and I'm sure most older teenagers and young adults would agree with me. At least try to act mature in your comments...

I am dismayed that supakewldawg's comments are being deleted. She has put forth several dissenting opinions, only to be slaughtered by the complacent and smug mainstream on this website. Let her speak... it is the only way we can attain justice and truth.

As for the image, I think a little bit faster shutter speed would have done this picture some good. The buildings are well exposed, but the water is just right there in that middle ground between frozen waves and smooth long exposure that it seems distracting from the focal point of the image.
