For some reason this wallpaper looks like more than a pretty landscape to me. I'm noticing quite a strong atmosphere in the shot, can't quite put my finger on it.

I agree with Joel. While there is some detail in the foreground, I can't help but think this shot would be so much better with a strong GND filter, and/or if the sun wasn't so bright.

I don't care much for the rock formation but the ocean itself came out extremely beautiful and shiny...if only more could have been in the picture like moving to the left of the perspective and magnifying the center part in between the two rocks.

I know exactly where this shot was taken. Bandon, OR south of town about a quarter mile. I went surfing there a couple times.
