It will be a nice picture without the website address on the right corner.

I second Matias. I was all ready to download it until I saw that. Still a great picture though.

I especially like the unusual yellow of the clouds - in the water it provides a nice complement to the brown of the hills while contrasting with the blue of the sky. It seems as though the clouds are more at home in the water, which is an interesting impression to have from a photo. Like Matias and BJB, I was going to download it until the website address popped into my vision.

This is a beautiful pictures, like the other two of mole2k. I don't understand why in last months IL has focused attention over two authors - whose photos have not been particularly successful judging by the ratings - in particular, (not mole2k, obviously) and ignored the others. Personally, I've sended many images, and I think that some of this are publishable, but these were ignored from IL.
I apologise to the author photo, I regret to contaminate comments of this post with a polemic that I would not have wanted to do.

calm water surrounded by icy mountains with cool sky, wow almost perfect. yeah ALMOST PERFECT if you dont put that website address on the right side of your picture. its like a big red pimple in your lovely face, making your face ugly. well thanks anyway but it will be better if you change that and post your original copy...

For those griping about the web address in this photo, I recommend using the healing brush tool in Adobe Photoshop. You can't even tell the difference when you zoom out.

I love the look of the converging mountains mole2k :)

Great Shot... it reminds me of the Benjamin West painting "Sierra Nevadas"

I'm not opposed in theory to someone putting an address on their wallpaper, as long as it's done discreetly. But an ugly pixel font that clashes with the background? Not at all.

I love it, I really like the reflection on the water :D

And for you people complaining about the website link, either clone stamp it out, or download a bigger resolution and crop it a bit

A very nice photo, spoiled by the ugly URL (in an ugly font) in the lower right. GIMP to the rescue!

The wallpaper is excellet... I can see a few of HDR and a very clear photo, but that website address on the right corner (down) is a little bad, but if you put it like a desktop wallpaper it may hide by the windows' start bar.

Why are you all complaining about the artists mark? This site gives you free access to amazing pictures and you complain that the photographer put his mark on HIS picture. This is a great picture by a very talented photographer and he has the right to put any kind of markings on it he pleases. If you really don't like it, then take 10 seconds out of your day and edit it in Paint to take it off. Stop complaining about a free picture that you had nothing to do with.

Before we all begin to argue and lose our right to comment on pics again, may I just remind you -- deuceswild09 -- that the whole point of the comment feature is to post our opinions of the work submitted -- annoying signatures and all.

To mole2k...like others not too crazy about this one due to the sig, but I do love the previous two. "Banff National Park" was on my desktop for quite a while.

Ok, some people here got the reason: the link is there almost "invisible", but I MUST remind - like trout - to you deuceswild09-- that this space is to comment and post our opinions 'bout the photos and other works here, and if you didn't like that, sorry, but you're in the wrong place.

My first impression was : wow !
I find this shot really great. The colors, the place, the moment etc.. everything is fine except... the ugly link. A little link with a cool font is ok but this...
Still, it's my wallpaper for the moment.

Not bad... I think it's the same spot as Black Skys Turn Bright (http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper_beta/details/1631/black_skys_turn_bright.html).

Take that web site out of the corner please...it spoils the whole view. I don't think IFL should let such pictures through with web sites on them...even a personal signature on art work should be kept to a minimum and in a creatively hidden shady locations.

Agree with most about the signature - please use a watermarking tool instead if you are worried about intellectual property.

That said, It is an amazing shot, I love it.

Can we get a 2560x1600 version please? This pic would look stunning on a 30" monitor
