I like the sense of remoteness and visual non-specificity of locale. It is as if we are passing by a last vestige of civilization, never to know who inhabits this coastal realm. In the twilight we are alone with only our thoughts.

Great photo! I really like the colors. Look just like a painting. I've been there myself and one of the special things about this lake is its milky white water. If you look closely, you can see it in the photo as well, wich gives it an extra depth in the colors on the water.

Balaton is a beautiful lake with rather unusual whitish tint to the water. My in-laws make great wine in Tihany near Balaton. Great photo and will send to my relatives in Hungary.
