Emerald Lake B.C, September, 2008. Canon 350D wide-angle 10-22m, Was a stunning day but we had the low level cloud just adding to the already stunning mountain mist.

beautiful shot well done don't know if u used a filter but a Lee filter ND .3 would kept high light of the clouds down still a nice shot love it thanks for sharing it! Regards

That is a wild shade of blue for a mountain lake - feels like someone transplanted the Carribean to the mountains :) - Nice image...

The lake gets its color from minerals that are suspended in the water.

Woah I didnt think it would get on let alone lots of folks like it. I feel really pleased now. The water was amazingly that colour. It changes as the season progresses. Glad you all like it.
