Not one of my favourites on IFL. The lighting effects are quite crude - for one thing the wooden skirting board doesn't seem to 'meet' the wall. The wallpaper has also been tiled quite poorly so you can easily spot the horizontal joins. Each to their own though.

I like the blue wallpaper, but its true that the wooden paneling doesnt look like it is on the wall. Also It looks to me like the perspective on the floor is somehow off.

I think the concept is great. Wallpaper as wallpaper. I really like the colors and the composition as well. The execution is a miss IMO. The boards look too fake I am guessing this was created in a 3D or photo editing program and is not an actual photo of a wall?

I have to agree with all the comments above. The wallpaper in this wallpaper looks pretty neat. And even the floor is done well in my opinion. But the foot board ruins the shot. It's almost like one person did the wall and the floor, and someone else came in and copy-and-pasted the foot board on top of it all. Sorry.

It's a different kind of wallpaper, I enjoy the different wallpapers, but I didn't like this one so much. It's important that the people keep doing your creative wallpapers like this (although I didn't like this one). But keep posting your works here dude.

It almost looks as if the foot board is in 2D, along with the wallpaper, but the floor is 3D. I think it looks like it pops out from the wall because the lighting on the bottom part of the middle foot board is alot lighter than the middle part of the floor nearest the foot board.

I agree with most of the posts above. I think with a few simple changes this could be a lot better. The floor boards are too narrow and just need the tiling reduced. The front of the baseboard appears to me made out of two lenghts of wood. This should be tiled to just show one row. Also, the inconsistancies in the wood color are distracting. Photoshop it up so they're all an even tone. My last suggestion would be to redo the wallpaper tiling or use a different sample because the seam is noticeable. I like the concept so far though.

Nice cover of a CD cover. I love The Cab and I recognized this wallpaper immediately. Nice attempt, but the wallpaper is off. There should be more white than blue. You can probably sample a portion of the original art and refine it for duplication. The perspective on the floor is off, too, but that can be easily fixed. I'd like to see a revision of this! Until then, it won't be my desktop wallpaper yet. Thanks!
