You know, I don't normally like this sort of thing, but this one is kinda cool. And while I wish the letters were a little more pronounced, I'll gladly put it on my desktop for a while. Nice work.

While I'm an old Apple fan (I believe we're talking about the computer), I bet this would look great for UNIX and WINDOWS too. By the way, I run Windows as well as OS X. Lastly, if we are talking about fruit, POMEGRANATE might be a bit too unwieldy!

I know the letter spacing was intentional but I don't think they should overlap that much. It's not a "wow" wallpaper or anything but it's still good work. My only gripe is that you compressed the 2560x1600 JPEG to under 1 megabyte and IFL allows you up to 5 megabytes. Use that space so that the picture stays high quality.

Nice one shame is over done in the glow bit, i did myself some adjustments with levels so i now got a nice pure, also i used a curve for the top glow seems a bit over done to my eyes (I got a calibrated screen) is nice to see pure black. Nice one looking forward to see next wallpaper.

thanks for all the comments so far, great constructive criticism. Unfortunately I don't have a calibrated screen and i have a Glossy iMac so that might be the reason for the color mismatch.

Brnboy: You know what, I think something about the height or alignment of the A is just barely off. Figured you might wanna take a look. Notice the top of the letter and bottom right part in between the two Ps.

I really like this wallpaper. But I only have one question...why doesn't the "A" show through where the first "P" overlaps it? Did you do that intentionally? It seems like if the other letters show through the overlap then they all should. That's my only contention...otherwise love the work!

Love the concept. But I there are some things that prevent me from using this as my wallpaper. First, I think the letters should be spread out more. It seems way too jumbled the way it is currently. Second, I think the glow makes it look blurry (right at the borders of the letters). A crisper version would be welcome. Third, a few minor items such as the "A" being up a shade high and not overlapping the same as the other letters. Otherwise, I think this has a lot of potential.
