I captured this lovely image while traveling through Skagit County, Washington on a day teetering between sun and rain. The final Photoshop file is a composite that weighs in at about two gigabytes!

Epic! Only "criticism" I have is that the sun at the top of the pic is almost blindingly bright, but that's probably intended. Still, the clouds look awesome, the building looks very good, the eagle soaring above...you were way lucky to be in that place at the right time!

Yep, that would be nice.
I usually just download the 2560x1024 and apply that... It doesn't look that bad. And it's worth it for the dual monitors!

This is a great photo. I don't believe it to be the best IFL release, but still this is something to behold. Nicely done man. And, even though it isn't my preference for a background, seeing as how we haven't had anything from you for a couple of years, and that this is so unique, I think I'll make it my background anyways.

It's usually hard for me to appreciate photos of run-down old buildings. But this image demands appreciation! The details are sharp without having that look of artificial "sharpness" about them. The grey house and sky, contrasted with green grass and moss, set a great mood for the piece.
Of course, the capstone for me is the over-flowing sun beam effect, balanced by the crisp eagle. That feller is sharp!

Very nice image! One thing though, the eagle looks very fake to me. Is it actually real, or is it Photoshopped in? Either way, very nice work.

In order for me to save it on my desktop I had to flip the picture
so the icons dont get in the way of the eagle. I had looked at some of your work, and read your comments. My advice, dont stop. You are a natural....

This is quite impressive but I really think the whole HDR fad is wearing thin on me personally.
This looks exactly like what it is. A composite of a bunch of images. It should look like a dilapidated old barn on a remote farm somewhere in the American midwest(?).
All the impact of the real building has been sucked out of the final product.
