I've got to say this place, Dungeness, is amazing, I've got to say a special thanks to Johannes for letting me know about this nice place to visit. If you ever have a chance to go there, don't think twice. So here are three boats @ f16 1/40 second. Played with it in Lightroom and that's pretty much it. I have begun to like RAW. Let me know if you like the pic too!

Speaking about miniatures -- there's a miniature railway actually transporting passengers from New Romney to Dymchurch (www.rhdr.org.uk) which is really an attraction and may be an interesting motive too.
Did you visit the nuclear power plant in dungeness?
Anyway this one goes right to my wallpaper folder, as about every picture of Joel.

When I saw the thumbnail I thought those boats where floating in the air..anyway I like this pic, the clearness of the image and its colours..I'd love to see other photos of this place!

Wow this is do weird to see a picture of Dungeness on this site. I grew up in Greatstone (right next door to Dungeness) and pretty much all my family history is rooted in Dungeness. If you know a little about it I'm part of the Tart family, which was one of the first families to live in Dungeness.
I don't recognise these boats personally but my dad probably knows who they belong to.
Great picture, this is going to be my bg for a while now
