This is a beautiful photo. :) I love the lighting and the foam on the water at the bottom.
The photo is rather detailed, which I like, but it does bring out some of the noise as well. But it is only really visible in the clouds for me.

The subject matter isn't really that interesting in this photo - its mainly sea and sky. And the desaturated colours to be kind of depressing.

I think that man on the rock in the middle of the water looks like it is challenging nature..and this is the particular which make this photo so intense..obviously the sky colour and the crispy water help too ;)

The people in this wallpaper give it scale. The immensity of the scene is what makes it beautiful to me... usually I'm a colors guy but this photo is awesome.
