3 Culvert Sunset
By TheReal7
September 2nd, 2009
I now call my gray hoodie the "mosquito hoodie". I've sprayed so much OFF spray on it it just reeks of it. It sure keeps those little bastards away though. Needless to say, there were a couple thousand of them keeping me company while taking this shot. It was worth it though as the sky delivered some goodness.

WOW! So nice to see this in full size! I voted for this image since this was a unique sunset! I don't understand why people always complain about sunsets. I consider sunsets as my favorite images and I have a ton of them and never get tired. Colors maybe a little strong in this image but look awesome anyways.

Whoa. This is really nice! TheReal7, I think you can make anything look beautiful. It seems like every time one of your works gets submitted, I end up saving it. hehe I just love what you can do with your camera equipment.

I'm gonna use a line that I get a lot: "I knew this was yours when I saw it in the Loupe!!". I did know it was yours, and it's a great shot!

#Chris Gin! I was thinking it was his too! Wow. Looks like a place with a GREAT number of mosquitoes. (thanks for battling them for us, so we could see this great shot) :P

What a striking shot! I was immediately perplexed how something as mundane as three culverts emptying into a retaining pond or whatever could make such a great photo
Warning: do not venture into the culverts. Who knows what evil therein lurks!!

I'd have preferred it without the three culverts (just that my taste is not quite that, um, industrial!). You don't happen to have a picture of the same sunset that doesn't include them, do you?

Another cool capture. Your images are truly inspirational. You and Chris are my two favorite artists here.

I can just about hear the high-pitched whines of the mosquitoes with this shot! Thank you for the picture, and for the dose of reality RE: teh mosquitoes in your caption. :-)
