Very nice.
Can I ask, did you use noise reduction on this image - I only ask because the rocks etc seem to have lost some detail or whathaveyou.
If you did... I suggest in future to just set a mask for the sky and reduce the noice on that - or anywhere where there isn't usually a noise or grain of some sort in real life.
I love those blues, my my.

One more question... there appears to be a 'step' in the ocean - on the horizon. It almost looks like there's a container ship just over the horizon sticking up. It's about as annoying as a dead pixel! Grrr

Hmmm... there's also a step in the upper right corner that picks up exactly where the step in the ocean leaves off. Steps aside, I really like the color and composition balancing here! The white band in the ocean, white clouds, and dark foreground rock add to the excitement.

A little biased here since I'm from there, but Egypt can be so beautiful! Btw it's Marsa Matrouh, not Matouh.

Hello, Mohamed Al-Tantawi. Very good job. The soft colors but alive cause an enhancement very interesting. The sky seems to be painted and drawn, as in the comics, but still liked. This place seems to enter a cave (grotto). Am I right? Thank you!

Very nice. As for how clear and detailed? It's a free desktop background to use for ones computer desktop. Oh and did I mention it's Free..
It seems odd how most of the people who have negative or harsh critiques have not submitted a single photo. Just my $0.02

Thanks a lot every one for your comments and your critiques is so welcome.
I shot it with Olympus E-510 with kit 14-42mm lens @ 14mm, so I admit it's not the highest detailed quality you can get :( I did some very light noise reduction in post processing too.
When I get some free time, I'll go through the processing again and see how can I improve it, may also remove that "step" in the water I don't know where that came from to be honest, may be the resizing process? it's not there @ 1680.
Thanks a lot everyone again, will let you know when it's updated :)

Thanks for the pic Mohamed Al-Tantawi, but if you can could you please make available the original picture without the light noise reduction and the "step"?
Thanks again for sharing!

As a picture it's lovely - although the proportions in the picture don't quite adhere to the normal photographic rule of thirds... As a result you're not quite sure whether you're supposed to be looking at the rock in the water on the right, the detail of the cave wall or the water.
I'd have taken the picture a little further to the right to make the shape of the cave wall wrap evenly round the rock in the water in the middle of the shot as it is now and leave out the one on the right. That way there'd have been a nicely defined focal point in the picture.
Still, as an atmosphere shot it's lovely: the colours are beautiful and it looks like it was a really lovely day (we get so few of them in England I get very jealous of pictures showing that sort of lovely weather!).

Incidentally, with a bit of Photoshop cloning and a teensy bit of blurring of the cloned areas I fixed the step on the horizon and the top of the image. Only a 3 minute job :)

Not a bad exercise, really. Some of the criticism is too heavy. I agree with Tony, there is room for improvement. But you seem to be living in an area that gives lots of place to take gorgeous shots.

He's right...there's no step in 1680x1050. Also, if you follow that step all the way to the bottom of the image zoomed in a little bit, you can clearly see that "step" is actually caused because everything to the right of that break is moved down about a millimeter. if you look very closely at the top of the image you can see there's a white line to the right of the step line. but otherwise, it's a really nice photo and a really nice spot. i think i'll just download the 1680 version and crop it to 16:9 :)
