I would not comment on that, but for a beautiful picture I think the author deserves. This is a beautiful photo (is among my favorites). The view is a great choice, since he decided to photograph the entire landscape and not just the church. The colors are mixed in the immensity and the clouds have a large stake for me. Italy is magnificent. Thank you very much.

I think this is the best shot you've posted here..the clouds on the background create a magic atmosphere and landscape really remembers that of The Name of the Rose even though it's too "sunny".

Giovanni, I love your work - especially where you shoot interesting buildings against beautiful, wild landscapes. I put this on my 24" iMac straight away and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Grazie.

Another picture that blows my socks off it's so good! And also another that looks far better in its full size version: theres a surprising amount of detail in the landscape that I wasn't expecting, and the church is so intricate it's amazing.
You've really captured the vibrancy of the light which can be quite difficult to do. Did you leave the camera on automatic or set it up manually?

Very nice capture!
Once request, can you go back to this same spot in the spring? I would love to see this scene with rich green grass...
But, great shot!

Awesome photo! I can't remember the technique, like tilt shift or something? Isn't this that kind of photo where things look like models. If so it's a really cool use of it.

Agreed. Good photo and the choice of title from the novel is excellent. I can just see William and Adso entering the great library to discover its secrets!
