This place is magical! As i saw this photo on The Loupe I voted for it! I love the peacefulness of this place, and that bench is very nice and particular..I'd like to have one of the in my backyard :)

I was about to speak strongly against it because of the colors, but seeing it at high resolution proved me entirely wrong. This picture is absolutely outstanding!

Yes! I was sick with anticipation on this submission, I voted and just hoped it'd get through. :)

Is there any hope of ever seeing these nice shots without the unrealistic HDR? In real life, the ground doesn't glow back at me like it's radioactive. But then I'm a newbie to photo viewing and thus obviously wrong.

Nice work. Reminds me of Gin's The Lookout. (Inspiration?) I might even like this one better. Your landscapes keep getting creamier. More Canada, please!

Chris Gin used to be my favorite artist on here, but there's clearly a new sheriff in town!
Thanks for a Great Desktop!

The colours look spot on to me, there's nothing wrong with HDR if it's done right and captures the light as the human eye sees it.
There's always something special in your photos Scott; you seem to have an innate ability to be able to capture the mood and atmosphere of a place and convey that in your capture, almost to the point where I can imagine what it would feel to be there there while I'm sat at my computer.
Great stuff, and I look forward to seeing some more of your work.

Thank you all very much for the comments. I can definitely see the resemblance to Gin's photo but it wasn't used as inspiration :)

I just realized that most of my favorite photos I've borrowed from ifl are yours! I tend to take and enjoy nature shots the most myself. And as a hobbyist I love the fact you give some background on how you produced the photos. Thanks and keep up the great work!
