This sunset was shot on Saturday,November 21, 2009 from the top of the "Turmberg" in Karlsruhe/Durlach, Germany. I went there because the sky was promising a great sunset - and i got what i came for ;) I had been there for about 2 hours and made lots of shots from this sunset. Hope you like it.

Parki, thank you! Despite the brightness of the sun, there is a balance over the trees, houses and clouds. And I know the city, very cozy. Very good!

What a great shot!! Like the others said, the sun is amazing! Furthermore, this shot reminds me of my early childhood. I often went to this place with my family in summer... I should visit this place again in the near future!
So I was really suprised when i read the description, it's nice to find a picture of my native city on interfacelift. :)

Fantastic picture! I have never seen Karlsruhe that beautiful. The mass of houses and tress blend nicely into the scene. The sun looks like a nuclear explosion, but that doesn't harm the picture.
