This photo is stunning! I'm curious, how does this photo have absolutely no noise! It doesn't matte what conditions I shoot in, my Nikon D70s will have noise and artifacts scattered around the photo (particularly on the sky).

@Elliott Barer: Since this is an HDR image, that will have the side effect of removing some noise. Also, he probably started with a higher resolution and the reduction would also remove noise. However, camera settings can also affect this quite a bit. For example, ISO settings are a balance between light sensitivity and graininess. Higher ISO shots have higher light sensitivity, but are also typically more grainy. For HDR you would typically use a low ISO and intentionally "bracket" the exposure so that some shots are under-exposed and some are over.

Finally, someone knows how to use HDR properly! It's truly an amazing shot. Well done!

This is one of my very favorites and ive looked through about 150 pages on this site. I also love the title its very insightful! Great job!!

Not a major fan of the over-used and over-abused, totally phony HDR syndrome, but this shot is quite excellent, in most every department. A keeper, for sure. Evidence that even an abused thing like HDR and "lens flare" (and other such instantly identifiable conceits) can actually be of value, when properly employed.
