Navajo Land
December 10th, 2009
Antelope Canyon, Arizona, USA. This land like the title says belongs to the Navajo nation. With the help of a Navajo guide, you can visit the lower and upper canyon (famous for it light beam, which can be seen on IFL). This was taken in the lower canyon in the morning. This shot is made of 3 exposures.
Canon EOS 5D Mark II - EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM. Developed in Lightroom, tone-mapped in Photomatix, adjustments in Photoshop.

Antelope Canyon really is a great place to go. I encourage anyone (especially photographers!) to try to make it there at some point.
I absolutely love the detail of this shot, but the HDR effect feels a bit overdone to me.

Wonderful shot! It must be hard getting a clean shot of this given its popularity - I saw the photo on your website of this place crawling with photographers :)

Phillipe,
Beautiful photo. Love the detail. Tasteful use of HDR. Congrats on getting yet another image to the front page. Still trying over here. ;-)

Thank you everyone.
Antelope canyon can be crowded yes, here in the lower canyon it wasn't too bad, but the upper canyon was madness, with people yelling at each other.
But yes, it is an amazing world, and I recommend to all of you to drive through the South of Utah up to Page, AZ. It is quite an amazing place to visit!

I was on a sequential background rotation using windows 7's changing the background automatically, but I couldn't wait for this to go up.
