OK, i'm dying to know..is this a macro shot or a wide shot? Its so funny, because I can't really tell if those are real hills or its just a small area of your backyard! Please do tell. :)

Nice shot. I took the liberty to bring up the shadow to add some contrast. Without reading the title at first, I mistook the image for coarse sand.

The levels are waaay off. I adjusted them in Photoshop and the image looks much better.
