I really liked, mrk. Thank you very much!

A year of happiness to all. My sincere wishes to all who make the IFL works.

Greetings!

This is real photography, putting the viewer right into the scene. I can feel the cold and a sense of isolation. It also spurs the thought that you should be really careful not to get caught on that snowy crossing. The road to the left of scene goes who knows where. Good job.

@ Joost:

It's a beautiful, technically well done shot. What's the problem?

Not sure what to think about this one, personal taste is a funny thing we each have our own idea about that ...

I personally like this photo. I find it strange that someone who doesn't like it gets labeled as "immature" and someone who likes it as "insightful". Wouldn't "Agree" and "Disagree" be more appropriate. I don't consider someone who doesn't agree with me to necessarily be "immature".

Really like this one, well done.

@sugarmountain - it's because the person who you interpret as not liking the photo didn't even say as much, instead launching into unfounded accusations of corruption. That, to me, is immature.

Hi Geosim - It's no so much that this person's comment was labeled as "immature" that I might object to - it's that the only choices are "insightful" and "immature". Just seems like "name-calling" to me. If I were to "rate" Joost's comments, I would have said "off-topic".

but i don't like black and white color

I would like to see a "color" version of this for comparison. My guess is that black & white is a good choice for this photo. Ansel Adams wasn't exactly chopped liver.

I remember the day when this pic was in the Loop and I think that it is a nice photography, but there were better ones displayed. This doesn't appear as a "clean" vote.

Beautiful, I love the depth and the crispness of the shot.
