I remember that tree, and i'm happy to see it again, but dont' you think the sun is a bit over saturated? on my screen it looks a bit fake!

Oh yeah. That sun is distractingly over-saturated. Everything else is beautiful though. I'm very glad you went back again. What a shot.

Thank you. I drive by this tree almost everyday. I need to visit it more often. For those that find the sun too saturated, here is a less saturated version:

You'll have to crop/re-size for your display.

The picture is moving, almost lyrical. A poet might be inspired to write of it. Lonely, yes, but unbowed by time; a survivor of many harsh seasons that felled less durable companions which once stood nearby.
As for over-saturation, that is a common enough issue here and is rather a matter of personal taste. I routinely run pictures I've downloaded from InterfaceLIFT through Adobe Lightroom to adjust them slightly to suit my preferences. I suspect many visitor's here may do the same, using Lightroom, Photoshop, Graphic Converter or even iPhoto. Since we view these images on different monitors, no picture is likely to suit everyone.

Sweet serene shot!! beautiful in many ways, and i should be sick of the snow living in one of the many parts of the world, in this case Iowa, with more than enough of it outside right now.

@tanside: I am in northern Illinois, and I can't stand the sight of snow. :)
That being said, this photo is exactly what I want; looking from the inside out, while lavishing in the warm comfort of my office. Well done, Real7.

Hi, I really like your photographies, they are always on my Desktop. But I have one question, do you use any HDR effects? or its just your camera settings, lenses and filters?
