Great stuff Richard. Love the lighting and the composition.

Perhaps maybe the rock could do with some more polygons, though?

Thanks for sharing. :)

The tree and rock in contrast to the sunset are spectacular. I've never seen anything like it.

Well, after some times I know realize that there is one error, but this is the only one.

The rock looks as if it were " on " the water, and not " in ", if you know what I mean.

Perhaps because of the shadow. The rest is really perfect.

The banding is only noticeably if you look for it, people need to stop making such a big deal out of it. Just enjoy the wonderful artwork. Great picture, love the colors :)

Not new to this website, have been lurking for quite some time, but had to finally register to make an observation. This picture is stunning, the colors remarkable, and I dont even know what 'banding' is but I am really getting tired of hearing about it. This is a WALLPAPER website, not a photogaphy lecture and seminar. If you dont like the picture just pass on it, dont put it down. THANK YOU for taking the time to share this picture. It is now my wallpaper!

Thanks for the link Richard but I would rather not know, than have that seed of information planted and being more critical. I just want to enjoy the picture!

@bmndibb3 - I didn't see the banding until I read your comment. I still don't see it unless I look for it.

@Euphytose - The "error" you found is pretty damn subjective. It just looks like a rock sitting in deep, opaque water.

@Ezoxu - Took the words right out of my mouth.

@ElectrikLizard - If what you said was true, Apple's default Leopard wallpaper wouldn't be purple.

@Richard Mohler - Amazing work. Looks clean and simple but VERY well made.
