@BenD and @1800yolk, thanks for your comments. I shot it from my rooftop in Maryland. I'm fairly pleased with the amount of detail i was able to capture considering how windy it was. Also got some nice red-tinted shots from the U2 to U3 phase.

very nice wallpaper. the moon appears very detailed on my computer.

i'm just wondering if this is a multi exposure shot or several shots PS'ed together?

This is amazing. Great detail with each stage. I watched the whole thing as well. I appreciate you braving the cold temperatures for this shot.

Any chance you could upload the red-tinted ones somewhere and post a link. I'd really enjoy seeing those!

Next time, possibly include a red shot in this image sequence.
