Sun-kissed sand.

The sunset was a little bit of a bummer but once in a while a touch of brilliant red kissed the clouds. Blink and it was gone. Maori Bay, Muriwai, West Auckland, New Zealand.

While bicycling in Ohiopyle State Park, Pennsylvania, I came across this stream flowing underneath the bike path. I thought it would be cool to try a long exposure shot. This is my first long exposure with water. It was very tricky to get because I bought an $18 compact tripod to throw in my backpack while biking. The thing almost had my Nikon in the stream.

First time I tried my 10 stop ND filter. Sunrise over Rangitoto Auckland, New Zealand.

Moraine Lake, Alberta, Canada. Glacially fed, taken before its peak. Two days after this the rock was nearly under water.

Blea Tarn Lake, Cumbria. This fence really got my attention during my visit to the lake District Cumbria. I decided to pop around and have a closer look. I love this view with the trees in the background.
