This spot is on a dirt road that goes up one of the many mountains around my house. This area looks down on the surrounding valley and is a relatively popular local place to view the sunset. On cloudy days, the sky turns deep colors during and just after sunset for only a few minutes. I used this opportunity to try out my new SIGMA 10-20 HSM but forgot to use smaller apertures to keep sharp corners, but it didn't bother me enough to keep from using the picture.
