I loved that beach, it's the one of the nicest places on earth. (Anse Lazio, Seychelles).

A winter storm was fast approaching... so I took my camera and tripod down to the beach. This is the result.

In Death Valley, even in the Spring with the air only warming to 87 degrees Fahrenheit, one must pack plenty of water. This was my lesson as I found myself parched after walking 45 minutes to the middle of the sand dunes just outside of the Stovepipe Wells area with only one liter of water on me. A lesson learned the hard way. You can literally lose yourself in this vast and wondrous landscape. The shapes continually shift as you wend your way through this amazing place. If I had enough water on me I could have stayed many more hours than I did. As it calls me back, I am in hopes to return in the Fall... with lots of water.
