Finally a break in the Vancouver winter rain. Shot just after sunset looking over False Creek into the residential district of downtown.

Taken in Saint-Basile, Québec, Canada with a Canon Digital Rebel XTi. I used a technique called HDR to get the maximum luminance into the picture. I also applied a tone mapping to get rich colors.

Taken at Falcon Lake, Manitoba. I was out taking some sunset shots as a storm was rolling in. I looked behind me and this is what I saw.

Moraine Lake, Alberta, Canada. Glacially fed, taken before its peak. Two days after this the rock was nearly under water.

Had a break in the weather so took advantage of a British Columbia sunrise. Taken on the Courtenay side of the Comox Valley, Vancouver Island, Canada. Looking east across the Georgia Strait.

In Sandilands Provincial Park Forest in Manitoba has a realy nice look out spot. You have to do a bit of climbing but it's worth it. You can see for hundreds of miles. This is an HDR image shot with a Canon 40D, 10-22mm @ 10mm, F/8, ISO/100.

Since Barack Obama and his family visited Yellowstone National Park as well, there was just a little too much Secret Service for me and my camera. ;-) So, I decided to continue my photo safari trip to Banff National Park, where I encountered this beautiful, emerald colored lake. Technique: HDRI made using 3 of the 7 exposures (Smart object method) and then processed in PS with Nik Color Efex and curves.
