Manarola, Cinque Terre - Take II

As my previous wallpaper... Beautiful Manarola. Luckily I've been back, only this time it was not sunny. Still, amazing. Hope you like it.
Note: I left horizon like that on purpose. Lately I'm tired of straight horizon lines.
Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM.

The wonderful warm hue of this photo gives it a rich decadence. It's a playground for my eyes and I don't want to leave. Super job, friend.

First time on this website that I've ever actually said "holy sh*t" aloud when I saw the thumbnail. I cannot tell you how much I love this, even with the crooked horizon.

Feels a bit washed out and de-saturated compared to the lovely sunset photo you submitted earlier. And this is only nitpicking by comparison, because your previous wallpaper was so stunning.

The other shot has the more classic sunset hues, but there's something just special about this shot! I think the exposure makes it feel more.. textured, .. rustic? Which, knowing the place, is (imho) so fitting!
Also: Grazie per avermi ricordato di quanto sia bello il mio paese natio (che non vedo da un po') - ok, ok, sono di Zena, ma insomma.. siamo li' :)

the colors, subject matter, and composition are beautiful. i love it.
i agree about the saturation. i feel like the reason it seems a bit washed out and de-saturated is because the contrast has been bumped a bit too much, maybe it's not so evident on other sizes I'm looking at the image on a 27 inch 2560x1440 iMac screen. either the contrast should be toned down just a tad or maybe the sharpening, cause all sharpening does is increase contrast on edges. it's such a great image. Sometimes when you have such a great image; you don't have to fix it too much.

I liked your other shot, but the colors of this one are just insane! It now seems insanely sharp and textured. Amazing. This is going to be my wallpaper for a very long time.
