The Tetons
By Robert Bynum
July 15th, 2013
Morning at the Tetons in Wyoming, USA. I hiked down a closed road to this iconic spot to catch the morning sun on the mountains and the reflection in the beaver ponds.
Adobe Photoshop Elements.
Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM.
Photo Settings: 28mm, f/11, 1/25 second, ISO 100.
Fall Silver Falls
By Robert Bynum
October 24th, 2013
Silver Falls in Western Oregon. Rough ride on single lane gravel road up to this rural spot but easy hike once you are there. Golden Falls is nearby. Gold and Silver Falls State Park in Oregon, USA.
Lightroom 5.2, Photoshop Elements 11.
Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM.
Photo Settings: 40mm, f/11, 1.6 seconds, ISO 50.
Evening Rainclouds
By Robert Bynum
February 1st, 2013
Another dramatic cloudscape/sunset at Sunset Bay in Oregon. Low tide has corresponded with evening sunset for the last few days so getting to this spot has been easy. It's just so darn cold and windy.
Beaver Pond
By Robert Bynum
December 26th, 2013
Grand Tetons. The photo is a little busy, but I have always like something about it. The perfect reflection, the symmetry of the dead tree in front of the live conifer. We watched otters and a beaver play for almost an hour the morning we took this.
Adobe Lightroom 5.3.
Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM.
Photo Settings: 58mm, f/11, 1/30 second, ISO 200.
N. Fork Smith River Falls
By Robert Bynum
July 2nd, 2013
A cool place in the middle of nowhere with two 100+ foot waterfalls side by side.
The one not in this picture is called Kentucky Falls.
Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0L USM.
Photo Settings: 17mm, f/16, 1/5 second, ISO 800.

Arago Lighthouse
By Robert Bynum
March 10th, 2013
Cape Arago Lighthouse near Coos Bay, Oregon during late afternoon light on very windy day. Longer exposure to blur the sea. Had a hard time getting good shots with tripod on steep cliff and 30 mph wind gusts.
Photo Settings: 400mm, f/25, 1/400 second, ISO 200.
Hope
By Robert Bynum
November 13th, 2014
Lone Seagull sitting on the interesting rocky headlands on the Oregon Coast. Was hoping for a nice sunset but it did not occur this particular night. After some adjustments in Lightroom, used Nik software to bring out some detail and increase contrast. The image may be overly sharp but I liked it this way. This new 16-35mm lens is great.
Oben tripod, LEE 0.9 hard GND filter, handheld.

Lighthouse at Gregory Point in Charleston Oregon with evening light basking the cliffs.
Photo Settings: 100mm, f/22, 2 seconds, ISO 100.
The Barn
By Robert Bynum
October 25th, 2013
The famous barn at the Grand Tetons in Wyoming USA.
I spent the earlier part of the morning at a different location and missed the classic morning shot of the barn.
Lightroom 5.2, Photoshop Elements 11.
Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM.
Photo Settings: 32mm, f/11, 1/80 second, ISO 200.
End of Storm
By Robert Bynum
April 17th, 2013
Sunset at Cape Arago near Charleston, Oregon.
I wanted to capture the intense green and red of the seaweed on the rocks in the foreground during sunset. The sunset did not materialize as I had hoped. Black clouds consumed the sky.
Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0L USM.
Photo Settings: 29mm, f/22, 1/13 second, ISO 50.
