Serene Sunset
By Robert Bynum
February 4th, 2014
A nice sunset at Cape Arago on the Oregon Coast on the evening of February 2nd, 2014.
I had to dodge a few incoming waves at this mid-tide time. My wife stands watch to yell at me when a big incoming one makes me grab the tripod and run. Finally captured the reflections I wanted.

Bandon Face Rock
By Robert Bynum
December 8th, 2013
The locally famous "Face Rock" in Bandon, Oregon, USA. Lots of photographers flock to this small coastal town these days. You see ads for tours to Bandon in magazines such as Outdoor Photographer. This small town has changed much from the 1980s when I went to high school there.

Lake Tahoe
By Robert Bynum
August 25th, 2013
The east side of Lake Tahoe looking south towards Bonsai Rock. The water was pretty rough so I used a 1/4 second exposure to capture the flow over a nearby rock. The emerald colors in this lake are amazing.

Thor's Well
By Robert Bynum
March 19th, 2015
A vertical sea cave on the Oregon Coast where the water is blown out and sucked back in with the waves near high tide. Can be a very dangerous spot and I'm sure many cameras have been lost as the volume of water that comes out of this hole can be unpredictable and you will be waist deep before you know it. I would imagine getting pulled into this hole in rough sea conditions would be fatal.
CP filter, tripod, Adobe Lightroom.
Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM.
Photo Settings: 20mm, f/11, 1/4 second, ISO 50.
