Sea Moss Sunset
By Robert Bynum
March 25th, 2015
I have been waiting for this green seaweed to grow again on some of these rocks in the tidal zone. It dies back in the summer and is brightest right about now. Now I just have to wait for a great sunset and the right tide at the same time.

Thor's Well
By Robert Bynum
March 19th, 2015
A vertical sea cave on the Oregon Coast where the water is blown out and sucked back in with the waves near high tide. Can be a very dangerous spot and I'm sure many cameras have been lost as the volume of water that comes out of this hole can be unpredictable and you will be waist deep before you know it. I would imagine getting pulled into this hole in rough sea conditions would be fatal.
CP filter, tripod, Adobe Lightroom.

The Bowl
By Robert Bynum
November 26th, 2014
I just wanted to share this image of this amazing section of the Oregon Coast. For just a few minutes the sunlight lit up the rocks and cast an orange glow on everything. Down below, near the water, is one of my favorite spots to capture seascapes. Because of the nominal sunset this evening I did not hike down but instead just shot a couple pics of this large bowl, slowly being enlarged by winter wave action. I would estimate it is about 200 feet wide and maybe 80 feet deep.

Hope
By Robert Bynum
November 13th, 2014
Lone Seagull sitting on the interesting rocky headlands on the Oregon Coast. Was hoping for a nice sunset but it did not occur this particular night. After some adjustments in Lightroom, used Nik software to bring out some detail and increase contrast. The image may be overly sharp but I liked it this way. This new 16-35mm lens is great.

Upper Coquille Falls
By Robert Bynum
October 26th, 2014
Small waterfall on the South Fork Coquille River near the Oregon Coast, USA.
Flows were very low when the shot was taken but the calmness allowed this slow exposure with the foreground ferns still sharp.

Simple wave and sunset shot near my home. Just a little vibrance, sharpening, and noise reduction. Tried not to over do it.
